Future Authoring Letter

Letter Date: 3rd March 2024

Hey Alex,

Let me just start by saying thankyou for what you’ve done, because of you I’m now able too…
I’m now able to live relatively carefree, enjoying my time without feeling that I have to work all day all week in order to get the funds to pay for everything I want.

I have the freedom to spend hours swiming, surfing or walking through the wilderness with Tiff during the day if we want to.

I have lots of time to read and learn as well as travel to visit natural wonders or live abroad.

And I have the security of having my home paid off.
The wisdom and discipline you showed has helped me to achieve…
Set my finances up so my money has worked for me, not the other way around, as well as my relationship with spending has become more discerning with consideration to what I’m using money for.
All of which has led to renovating my home with the outdoor living space I crave, paying of the mortgage and also funding trips overseas to visit the galapagos islands or valley of the kings
Because of what you learned and how I gained, I’ve been able to increase my impact. Here’s just some of what you’ve made possible:

In case you were wondering if it’s all worth it, let me assure you that…

Due to taking the first steps, back in Feb ’24, you have achieved a lot and are extremely happy. You get to spend many hours in bliss, able to prioritise time with Tiff, your family, or your friends over work without financial pain of that choice.
I know you worked hard and made sacrifices to make the lifestyle I now live possible, so let me walk you through a typical day so that you know what’s head of you…
– You still wake up early, between 5-6am, enjoy the sunrise and get some natural sunlight – either through the blinds or out the front with a coffee/tea and a book.
– You have the choice of staying in bed with Tiff, should you both feel like that.
– You take the dogs for a walk, to the beach or the park? whatever the weather looks best for. Then take the time to do a work out (i.e. sprints, beach swimming, cycling along the coast)
– You have time to make a nutritious breakfast and eat it without rush
– You use your morning for reading/learning, catching up with friends, personal appointments or other administrative tasks. If travelling, you look to do one interesting thing in that location.
– You use your afternoon for any work you choose to undertake, whether it be for myself (i.e. my finances, home maintenance, vehicle maintenance) or for others (i.e. bookkeeping or business support, tax assistance, assisting friends or family with their businesses or finances). If travelling, find one interesting thing to see or do. If there’s nothing needed to be done, have the choice of
– Your evening is free to spend with Tiff, family or friends. You regularly enjoy meals, movies and events with them.
– You regularly get to bed by 10pm, reading some light fiction before sleeping, getting a good 8ish hours sleep.
Lastly, I need you to know that…
This mentorship will feel difficult at some times, I know focussing on yourself is not something you do easily or often, but it will pay dividends when you put your full efforts into these activities and the learning.

Lean in to the hill, get your centre of gravity closer to it and it will be easier to keep going and go faster!
